My soul thrives on beauty and connection, and one of the ways I pursue this is with my camera.

Meet your photographer, locations expert, vendors-matchmaker and planner

The warmth of openhearted people, the rawness of slightly wild landscapes and the soft glow of natural light is what you’ll find here, in my photography.

Connection, beauty found in the ordinary and in the details, adventuring, and those moments of grace. That’s what I love to find and create when I photograph. That’s what makes me come alive.

My focus is on adventurous elopements, couple sessions and portraits, because I love people and I’m an extroverted introvert. The most fascinating, majestic background I’ve found for my pictures is nature. That being said, if you prefer taking your pictures in your beautiful, light-filled apartment, I’m in! I am actually passionate about beautifully designed interiors.

I’ve been photographing for about 10 years now. And it’s been a breathtaking, thought-provoking, life-giving journey. I’d choose it over and over again. Meeting people from all corners of the world, getting to know them for a few hours while creating their very own pictures together is a true adventure and an honour every time.

Isabel has the lightness of an artist and the loyalty of a great friend. She accepts people as they naturally are. She really does have her own point of view in her art. Her pictures combine a softness and richness with real strength that she sees and pulls out of people or scenes. Like picking a rust colour against a turquoise blue, it blends and yet is strong. And she has a playfulness that is often quiet but lovely when it sparkles. She listens intently to people and really hears them, maybe from cutting between so many languages she has learnt well how to hear what is beneath the mere words. She has a deep connection to nature, which I genuinely believe comes from her understanding of God as a creator. When what is seen has fallen, she still sees what it was meant to be, and what it could still be. This leads her to creativity, and also to be able to see the beauty in many places and pull it out using a camera. Maybe I'd call that seeing redemption in her eye. Your heart is truly beautiful Isabel.
