I’m a Swiss lifestyle and elopement photographer, available in Europe and beyond.

You’re reading this because finding (and creating) beauty became my survival strategy a few years ago – when I thought my days were going to unfold in an office for the next few decades. It felt so disconnected from the adventure, the growth and the connections I have always envisioned this life to be.

It ended up in panic attacks, which forced me to start noticing the little things that brought me joy, the moments my soul felt at peace. Here are a few examples from a non-exhaustive list: walking a path in the middle of the mountains and all I can hear is the gravel under my feet and my pounding heart. A steaming cup of tea. The face of my friend laughing loudly. The fabric of a floaty dress a stranger is wearing in the streets. The alchemy I sense between two people who are madly in love. The highlighted shade of green in somebody’s eyes as a ray of sun lands on their face.

Photography slowly became the celebration of those moments. And photography enables me to share those fragments of beauty and grace with whoever I’m photographing, or whoever is looking at my pictures. Photography became a special moment of connection between my subjects and me, or between the viewers and myself. I want my photos to emanate joy, connection, harmony, vulnerability.

What I love most is photographing outdoors, in the middle of nowhere or in the heart of some epic landscape. That’s what thrills me. I also love cozy homes and light flooded interiors. If that speaks to you, too…

“Beauty is a dynamic event that occurs between you and something else. Beauty can spontaneously occur at any moment given the proper circumstances, context, or point of view. Beauty is thus an altered state of consciousness, an extraordinary moment of poetry and grace.”
I’m quoting Leonard Koren, who put it more perfectly than I ever could in his book Wabi-Sabi for artists, designers, poets and philosophers

I live for unplanned midnight swims, uncontrollable laughter (preferably in public) and mediterranean food. I live for love notes left in random places, impromptu adventures and campfires lit by a lakeshore. I live for dry red soil and black sand and the sky’s colour right before the storm.
