Epic Switzerland engagement shooting - Irantzu & Jonas

11-2.jpg

The mist and clouds were racing by, pulled by strong winds. We walked up the mountain path that led us to our spot for Irantzu and Jonas’  couple photos, on the edge of cliffs in the Swiss mountains. We arrived just in time to get a glance of the crazy, vertical cliffs we actually wanted to have in the background. We had to shoot quickly because the mist was rising rapidly, as it often does in the mountains, swallowing the rays of golden sun that managed to shine through just a few more minutes before disappearing completely.

But it was all we needed, that moment, that steep grassy slope and cliffs disappearing in the fog – to make the most of this moment.

There is something magical about having to walk or hike a bit to reach a certain spot for your photos. Not only do you have more chances to be completely alone in that place, but also you will have photos with a decor that no one else has, because most people choose what is easy and comfortable. What’s more, you just experience a place completely differently when you’ve had to walk and conquer some altitude meters.
