Most of the mentioned benefits in the descriptions of the blends have been widely studied and/or come from centuries of traditional uses in cultures from around the world. However, the effects cannot be guaranteed, nor are they medical information. These blends are meant for enjoyment purposes and not as sole means for the treatment of any physiological or emotional symptom you may have.

Every person reacts differently to specific plants and it is in the responsibility of the buyer to assess whether the ingredients mentioned in the blends are suitable for them. Please check directly with your doctor in case of doubt. Although the amount of herbs per cup serving is relatively small, they can be potent. Please pay special attention if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any kind of medication that may have contra-indications to certain herbs, or if you have any known medical issues that may not be compatible with the herbs mentioned in the blends. Always consult your medical practitioner first. Pay special attention to the following ingredients: Chamomile, Echinacea, Ginkgo biloba, Dandelion, Astragalus (they have allergic potential), Ginseng (can have a blood-thinning effect, to be avoided before surgeries), Skullcap (not suitable for children, in pregnancy or while breastfeeding), Ginkgo (not suitable for persons who have an increased tendency to haemorrhage). The majority of the ingredients were acquired by certified, Switzerland and EU-based distributors of organic products, who source their plants from controlled organic farms locally, in Europe and around the world, or they were wild harvested and controlled for residues.

Please note that due to their classification as a Novel Food (EU Novel Food Regulation), the following ingredients may not currently be declared as a food item: Gynostemma, Chanca Piedra, Mugwort, St. John’s Wort. Novel foods are foods that were not used as food to any significant extent in the EU before 15 May 1997, when the first Novel Food Regulation came into force.

This category also includes, for example, extracts of already known foods, if these were only used on a large scale after this date, as well as new preparation methods for the same food or foods that have a long tradition in countries outside the EU, but only became known in the EU at a later date. The categorization as a novel food therefore ultimately does not allow any statement to be made as to whether a product is healthy or not or whether it is suitable for consumption or not.

Every blend comes with a batch number and a “best before” date. Please take it into account and make sure to store your products away from the light and from heat, ideally in airtight containers.
