Back-free dress, the most adorable shoes, a white flowers crown and her blond, wavy hair in the wind. Janine was the perfect boho bride. And Torfinn had the perfect flowered tie. The day started with the bride’s preps in a reconverted industrial house, together with her sister and her best friend, also her maid of honour. Think concrete floors, high walls, plants everywhere and a hammock in the middle of the room. And palpable excitement in the air.
Janine and Torfinn’s boho wedding started in an adorable little church in the Emmental valley. The wooden interiors radiated a warm light onto all the emotive faces. It was a beautiful celebration. It continued with the reception, with a view onto the hazy hills of the Emmental. Janine and Torfinn’s friends gave a dreamy concert in the woods nearby, amongst the pine trees. The first part of the day ended with the crowd releasing a massive number of balloons into the blue sky.
Then I snuck away with the both of them, in an adorable blue old timer, for some more photos in the woods. Sun filtering through the leaves and soil covered with moss made for the most dreamy atmosphere. We joined the guests later on at Caci Mühle, a cute, quirky place with a magnificent wild garden, run by an Italian family. The evening continued with a rich buffet of delicious food (still didn’t get over the homemade almond brioche), more music and dancing, candles everywhere in the garden and lots and lots of laughters that lasted long into the night.
