Swiss mountain lake elopement - Cristina & Andi

It was a Wednesday afternoon on a beautiful September day that I hopped into Cristina and Andi’s van and we drove off to this Swiss mountain pass. The fun thing is that our aim was actually to take photos by this amazing, Wes Anderson style hotel that you’ll see on a few pics below, but we ended up doing most of the pictures by this incredible, turquoise glacier lake that we didn’t even know existed until we were there. The light was slightly hazy, a pale gold that seemed to add some magic to everything it landed on. And those grey, honey-colored stones all around provided the perfect color palette. Cristina and Andi’s playfulness made those few hours beautifully lighthearted and vibrant. Sometimes I cannot believe that I get to photograph such amazing, easy-going yet deep human beings. This job is truly a gift to me.
