Tulum beach couple shooting - Michelle & Miguel

Little did I know that this warm day spent in the jungle visiting some Mayan ruins would end with the perfect couple shooting on the beach. We were just coming back from an excursion with my friends and we were going for a sunset swim. That’s when I noticed the incredibly perfect light conditions (a dream for any photographer), and my friend noticed Miguel and Michelle (can we talk about their matching names?) chilling a bit further up on the sand with their cocktails. As they got up, I approached them and literally just asked if they were up to pose for some photos. They were a bit perplexed but were totally up for it, so we did an express 10 minute shooting (I didn’t want to take too much of their time) that made me incredibly happy. As a Swiss photographer, mountains are my more usual decor, but I’d trade them for a balmy evening on the beach any time! Also, I must say it’s definitely more relaxed for everyone when shooting at temperatures above 15 celsius. So, if you’re thinking about doing a shooting on a beach somewhere - my camera and me, we are ready!
